Abiy Ahmed lead prosperity party government conducted a drone strike on civilian resident area killing including a mother and child four (4) civilians and more than 20 animals. The Amhara Fano in Shewa (የአማራ ፋኖ ሸዋ ጠቅላይ ግዛት ዕዝ) stated the strike was in the early morning 5 am (local time) while they were in their sleep.
The attack held today Feb 8, 2025 in Efratana gidim Woreda Zenbo kebele, Shewa Amhara region of Ethiopia. A video circulated on X social media shows a destroyed resident from the attack and the people who gathered to mourn.
Commander-in-Chief of the #Ethiopian Air Force Lieutenant General Yilma Merdasa, and the Ethiopian army General Birhanu Jula sweared to use drones. Abiy Ahmed’s state terrorism continued in the name of "rule of law" in the Amhara region. The no mercy policy of the leaders exposes their hate for the Amhara people.
The international community have to break the silence to end the suffering of the civilians. The perpetrators of war crimes must be brought to justice.
